This is my entry for 's ballroom contest, because frankly I'm sick of working on it. Gene is dragging her fellow Kitchenette into some socializing while other partygoers... chill out....

The background is largely inspired by the Metropolitan Opera's setpieces for 'Romeo and Juliet' by Gounod. Wonderful palette throughout, warm but slightly decayed golds and reds - not *exactly* Nitemare Hall, but meh.

I learned how to use layer masks while doing this, which I view as a huge plus. I also learned that when I colour my outlines it looks hella Disney.
